02 · Trail

How the trail is built

Frostwit follows official Robinhood stock tokens and USDG on Robinhood Chain, hop by hop, with the transaction behind every hop.

    Seed. The theft transaction's receipt names the victim, the receivers and the tokens that moved.
  2. 2
    Scan. One query covers all 203 freezable tokens per 100 000-block window (about 2.8 hours of chain time).
  3. 3
    Follow. Up to 4 hops and 10 receivers per address, 24 h after the value arrives. Swaps are followed: if the thief swaps NVDA into USDG, Frostwit follows the USDG.
  4. 4
    One lane. One shared lane to Robinhood's RPC: traces run one request at a time, every case shows its place in the queue.

Re-checked every 15 minutes for 7 days while the case is open. Changes are logged with the transaction that moved the value.

03 · Freezable

Who can freeze what

Freezable now: what still sits in stock tokens or USDG, in which address, how much, and whether the issuer has already blocked or frozen that address.

Stock tokens

Robinhood's access registry can block an address; a blocked address cannot move its stock tokens. The token contract also has an issuer burn function. Frostwit reads the registry flag live for every address in the trail.

USDG

Paxos can freeze a USDG address. Paxos freezes only on a formal legal directive (court, regulator, law enforcement). Frostwit reads the live freeze flag.

05 · Limits

Read these before you trust a trace

Not audited. Read the limits before you trust a trace.

  • cannot freeze

    Frostwit cannot freeze or recover anything. Robinhood and Paxos decide, and they usually need a police report or a legal directive.

  • ETH

    Native ETH is not traced in this version.

  • 7 days

    Address mode covers the last 24 hours by default, up to 7 days (slower, queued). For anything older, paste the theft transaction.

  • USDG history

    Paxos freeze history is not indexed in this version; the live flag is on each address's status page.
